Snyder's Store

1936. Snyder's Art Store, owned by Frank R. Snyder, was an arts, crafts and photography supply store on High Street between Poplar and Main streets. It was passed down to his son, Frank K. Snyder, and later became Snyder's Hallmark, owned and opperated by Snyder's grandaughter Gretchen McLaughlin. It was once Oxford's oldest business, and is now Wild Bistro, an Asian cusine restaurant. It remains the only original building from this era on that block of High Street.
