Oxford, Ohio and Miami University, Then and Now

George Washington Bicentennial Cabin

1932. Constructed to honor the 200th anniversary of George Washington, and to honor Joel Collins, an original settler of Oxford, Ohio who fought for Miami University to be located there. Dedicated on October 20th, 1932, the anniversary of Benjamin Harrison, former U.S. President, and Caroline Scott, Oxford native. Now it is the current location of Follett's bookstore.
